NEET UG 2026: NTA Extends Application Deadline to March 25

In a major relief for medical aspirants, the NTA has extended the last date for submitting online application forms for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2026. Originally set to close on March 15, candidates can now apply until 11:50 PM on March 25, 2026. The correction window is expected to open on March 28.

Official sources stated that the decision was taken to ensure that students from rural areas, who faced intermittent connectivity issues during the final days of registration, do not miss out. The exam remains scheduled for May 3, 2026, across 500 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.
