To assist students in understanding the evolving pattern of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), the Consortium of NLUs has decided to release official sample papers earlier than usual. For the 2027 cycle, the first mock set will be released in April 2026. This move follows feedback from educators regarding the need for more practice material reflecting the current difficulty levels.
While the actual exam for the 2027 session is expected in December 2026, the early release of materials is intended to reduce student anxiety. The Consortium also clarified that there are no major changes planned for the syllabus or marking scheme for the upcoming cycle.
