The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 12 Physics exam today, March 15, 2026. Most students rated the paper as 'moderate' in terms of difficulty. While the Section A (MCQs) was straightforward, Section C and D contained application-based numericals that required deep conceptual clarity.
Experts from leading schools in Delhi and Mumbai noted that the paper was strictly aligned with the revised NCERT syllabus. There were no out-of-syllabus questions, though the optics and electromagnetism sections were slightly more time-consuming. The board is expected to begin the evaluation process by next week, aiming for a result announcement in the second week of May.
