YCMOU Exam 2026

Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik, is Maharashtra's state open university. It conducts its own term-end exams for its distance-learning UG, PG, diploma and certificate programmes. It is not an entrance exam and is not conducted by NTA.

YCMOU holds two term-end exam sessions every year:

YCMOU was set up in 1989 and is named after Yashwantrao Chavan, Maharashtra's first Chief Minister. It offers programmes in open and distance mode through regional centres and study centres across Maharashtra, so students can study without attending a regular college.

Hall tickets are made available online before each session. Carry a printed hall ticket and a valid photo ID to the exam centre.

• Evaluation combines a term-end exam with continuous assessment (assignments). The split, often about 70:30, varies by programme.
• The minimum passing grade is about 40%.
• Results use a 10-point credit-based grading system.

1. Go to ycmou.digitaluniversity.ac or the Examination section of ycmou.ac.in.
2. Select the correct exam event (session). Choosing the wrong event is the most common reason a result does not show.
3. Enter your PRN (Permanent Registration Number) and the other details asked, such as seat number or date of birth.
