JEE Main 2027 Result: Date, Percentile, Rank, Next Steps

The JEE Main 2027 Session 1 result is expected in February 2027, and the final ranks after Session 2 are expected in April 2027. NTA hasn't announced exact dates yet. Results show an NTA score (percentile), not raw marks. All India Ranks come only after both sessions.
How the percentile works
- Each shift is scored separately. Your percentile shows the share of candidates in your shift who scored the same as you or less.
- NTA calculates a percentile for Maths, Physics, Chemistry and the total.
- If you write both sessions, your better total NTA score counts. NTA does not pick the best subject from each session.
If two students have the same score (Paper 1)
- Higher Maths NTA score
- Then higher Physics NTA score
- Then higher Chemistry NTA score
- Then fewer wrong answers compared to right answers, across all subjects and then in each subject
- If still equal, both get the same rank

Your goal What to do IITs Qualify for JEE Advanced 2027. In recent years the top 2,50,000 Paper 1 candidates (all categories) qualified. The 2027 number is expected in the JEE Advanced brochure. Is the JEE Main percentile the same as percentage?
No. 90 percentile means you scored the same as or better than 90% of candidates in your shift. It doesn't mean you got 90% marks.
When will the JEE Main 2027 result come?
Session 1 is expected in February 2027 and Session 2 in April 2027. We'll update this page as soon as NTA confirms the dates.
What rank do I need for NIT Warangal?
