JEE Main 2027 Session 1 registration is open now. NTA is accepting applications from 24 October to 22 November 2026 (till 11:50 PM) on jeemain.nta.nic.in. Session 1 exams are on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January 2027. Session 2 registration runs from 5 January to 3 February 2027.

Processing charges and GST are extra. The late fee is Rs 500 for everyone.

Who can apply

• You passed Class 12 in 2025 or 2026, or you are appearing in 2027. If you first passed in 2024 or earlier, you cannot apply.
• There is no upper age limit, but some institutes set their own age rules.
• For NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded colleges you also need 75% in Class 12 (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or a place in the top 20 percentile of your board.

How to apply: 5 steps

1. Go to jeemain.nta.nic.in and open the JEE (Main) 2027 Session 1 application link.
2. Register and log in. NTA allows sign-in through DigiLocker, Meri Pehchaan or JanParichay.
3. Fill in your details. Your name and date of birth must match your Class 10 certificate.
4. Upload a colour photo (10–200 KB, white background), your signature (10–100 KB) and your Class 10 certificate (PDF, 50–300 KB).
5. Pay the fee by card, net banking or UPI before 22 Nov 2026, 11:50 PM, and save the confirmation page.

Important: fill only one application. NTA treats more than one application as unfair means.

FAQs

What is the last date for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 registration?
22 November 2026, till 11:50 PM. You can still apply from 23 to 26 November with a late fee of Rs 500.

Can I write both sessions?
Yes. Your best total score from the two sessions is used for your rank.

I passed Class 12 in 2024. Can I write JEE Main 2027?
No. Only students who passed in 2025 or 2026, or who appear in 2027, are eligible.
