MPBSE Class 10 Exam - Pattern, Syllabus & Grading
The Class 10 (High School) examination pattern usually consists of 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for internal assessment/practicals. For subjects like Science, the division might vary slightly. Students must study three languages, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science.

MPBSE Class 12 Exam - Pattern, Syllabus & Grading
The Class 12 (Higher Secondary) exams are conducted for various streams including Science (PCM/PCB), Commerce, Humanities, Agriculture, and Fine Arts. The marking scheme for non-practical subjects is 80 theory + 20 project work, while practical-based subjects (like Physics, Chemistry, Biology) follow a 70 theory + 30 practical pattern.
Students are required to pass in both theory and practical components separately to be declared successful in the HSSC examination.
MPBSE 2026 Exam Dates & Schedule
The MPBSE 2026 Board Exams are expected to be conducted in the months of February and March 2026. Traditionally, the Class 12 exams begin in the first week of February, followed shortly by the Class 10 exams.

MPBSE Eligibility & Registration Process
To appear for the MPBSE 2026 exams, students must meet the following criteria:
- Regular Students: Must have completed the previous grade (9th or 11th) from a board-recognized school and maintained the required attendance.
- Private Students: Must register through the MP Online portal by submitting the requisite documents and fees.
Registration usually begins in July/August of the preceding year through the respective schools for regular candidates.
MPBSE Results & Passing Criteria
To pass the MPBSE Class 10 and 12 exams, a student must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as in the aggregate. In subjects with practicals, students must pass theory and practical exams individually.
The results are typically announced in May. Students can check their scores at mpresults.nic.in by entering their Roll Number and Application Number. Those who fail in one or two subjects are eligible to appear for the Supplementary Examinations held in July.
